ACI CHRISTIAN ACTION FIGURE BODY

I was debating between the ACI figure body and the Kaustic Plastik figure body and man am I glad I choose ACI! This figure is awesome!

It has 30 points of articulation. It comes with 4 pairs of hands and 2 pairs of feet. The muscle definition is unbelievable. Who ever did this figure really knows the human anatomy.

I am seriously thinking of ordering at least 2 more of these medium figure bodies for more customs. I don't want to miss out.

ACI is getting ready to come out with the Bruce body and it looks good too. I'll probably pick up a few but this figure looks a little thicker than the Christian figure. I think I'll be able to make some MMA figures with the Bruce body. But the Christian body lets me make the average body type.

I have not seen an AA ACI body since Andrew figure. I hope they haven't stopped making AA figures. I have a few customs I would like to make.

CUSTOM FIGURES

The Wolverine figure I ordered comes with 2 outfits. This is one of them.

So, I ordered this head...

Both came in today and wow! The head sculpt is amazing and the body is too! Can't wait to put this custom Wolverine figure together!

I also ordered this figure that I'm planning on doing a custom figure with. The head sculpt on this figure looks amazing as well.

I've been collecting for a while, now I want to try my hand at some customs.

THE BIG THREE!

There are 3 men I have always admired and drawn inspiration from. One is a real person. The other two are characters. And every since I started this hobby of action figure collecting, I have wanted the big 3.

I brought Hot toys Bruce Lee for Christmas for myself last year. 

I ordered Tony Stark for myself this Christmas.

And I just ordered THE WOLVERINE!

These are the 3 collectibles I have wanted in my collection since I started collecting. I can't believe my little cheap self will have all 3! I am so excited. I preordered the Wolverine. So excited! 

I am thinking about ordering the The Mechanic Tony Stark version and at least one actual Ironman for display.

TONY STARK

I finally did it. I ordered a Hot Toys premium figure. One that I have to pay installments on. I know! Totally unlike me. But, I've been wanting a Tony Stark figure forever! And I kind of figured out that this type of figure is NOT going on sale. It will just sell out first.  So without further ado, here is a picture of the figure I have on order.

MARVEL SELECT MARK 42 IRON MAN

I'm still collecting on a budget but, for around $30 I couldn't pass up one of my favorite figures.

 I love this figure! It's Iron Man Marvel Select Iron Man! Just came in today. He was here waiting for me after a long hard day at work. 

He comes with this cool stand that's made to look like part of Tony Stark's workshop. And the face sculpt really does look like Robert Downy Jr/Tony Stark!

Doesn't matter if you look at this figure from the front or the side, this little guy looks like Tony Stark.

 

I have the Hasbro Mark 42 also. I actually have several different versions of Iron Man and this Marvel Select Iron Man is by far the coolest Iron Man figure I have. Here he is standing beside my Hasbro figure. Here are a couple of pictures of the Mark 42.

MY HALL OF ARMOR IS GROWING STILL

Okay, he's not Marvel Legends but you have to admit...this mini Ironman sure is cute riding in my new Cruze. And he's from the new movie.

Yay! Only one more figure to find to complete my Iron Monger. I picked up Iron Patriot today. I hope I haven't missed Ultron. He's the last figure I need.

I saw this at my local Walmart. As you can see, the build a figure piece has been stolen out of this package. SMH

And this figure... I don't get people. If you want the build a figure, just buy it and then sell the Marvel Legends figure on Ebay. Don't be an Ass and ruin it for collectors like me.

Anyway, I was able to find Iron Patriot with the Monger piece intact. Here's my Iron Man collection so far.

UFC FOR PLAYSTATION 3

I watch the UFC on TV and occasionally at a sports bar. I have almost 50 UFC action figures and now...I'm playing UFC on Playstation 3. When will it end?

I have the 2009 version...and yes, I got it at a bargain. I got the 2009 version for $1.99! I am so frugal.
I might buy a newer version for $7.

Here's my haul for this week minus Lyoto. I had him already.

What I love about the older game is that it has some of my favorite fighters that are retired or getting ready to retire. I love playing as Chuck the Iceman Liddell and Forest Griffin and BJ Penn. These guys were great!!! Note: BJ is considering a comeback but Dana White wants him to stay retired.

And being able to put Frank Mirr against Brock Lesnar is toooooooo fun!

Hmmmmm....should I be having this much fun beating up opponents? I don't know if I should but I sure am!

HE'S HERE!

Wow! Monkey Depot is really fast! I just ordered this figure like 3 days ago and he's already here! He's the Chinese  PLA Counterattack against Vietnam in self defense figure.

Online this figure fully outfitted runs $109. I wasn't so much interested in getting the figure as it was sold with his PLA Counterattack uniform. I wanted the action figure it's self.I have so many figures now that I have changed my focus to added different nationalities to my collection. I have nine figures of Asian descent including this guy now. That's not a lot considering I own way over 100 figures. Focusing on other nationalities makes collecting more challenging...and fun.

Of course, being an action figure collector on a budget...I brought him naked! LOL He cost me $25. Which is pretty good when you figure a headless naked Hot Toys figure is going for between $60 and $75 dollars.

I ran into this figure at my local Walmart on clearance for $10 with an additional 50% off on that so I brought  him for $5 and stole his clothes for my new figure. These clothes fit my action figure perfectly. Even the shoes on this figure fit my figures. Normally when I buy Ken doll clothes for my figures, the shoes never fit and sometimes the clothes don't fit either. Action figure bodies have a bulkier build than a Barbie doll like Ken.

I think my guy looks better in the outfit than Liam. And the clothes fit him well and are long enough.

This is the first Soldiers Story action figure body that I have ever brought. And I have to say, I'm impressed with the figure's quality. They didn't skimp on the type of plastic they used. It has great articulation.This figure has at least 30 points of articulation. I love the mat finish on his skin tone. This figure body with it's articulation and quality is comparable to Hot Toys or Enterbay figure bodies. The head sculpt is just as good as a Hot Toys or Enterbay sculpt. I'll have to do some research and find out more about the artist that work for Soldiers Story.

So, I paid a total of $30 for the figure and his clothes! And I was lucky enough to get the last figure that they had! The detail on this guy is really nice. On his hands he has veins and you can see the individual ligaments separating on the back of his hands.

I love the realistic face sculpt on this guy. That's one of the things I look for when collecting 1/6 figures. I am just amazed that I was able to basically get a complete figure for just $30. It just confirms in my mind why I just can't give $200 - $300 dollars on a figure. When I find an awesome figure like this for a steal like I did...it makes me very happy:)
