POWER TEAM ELITE ASIAN FIGURE!!!

I can not believe I found a figure that I have been looking for 6 years! I don' t think they even make these anymore! And I found 2! Yep. I brought them both. Early Xmas Present to me:)

This figure's head sculpt is based on MC Toys founder. I did not think I would be lucky enough to own 2 of the 3 Asian sculpts that were released to North America.

Here's the other Asian sculpt that I found a couple of years ago. I have another one MIB. Well, I guess there is hope yet that I might be able to find the last one:)

SPEAKING OF DC COMICS

What is up with the new Catwoman in the new Batman movie? Could they have made a worst costume for one of my favorite DC characters? Not hardly. And where are Catwoman's muscles? Her defined physic? The cool Catwoman hood and goggles? Sigh. I'm so disappointed in the look of Catwoman that I won't be seeing this movie. And I've seen all of the new Batman movies so far.

 It looks like a wetsuit. And what's up with the long flowing hair. Catwoman is a modern woman. She hasn't had hair that long since 1960.

Instead of seeing the movie, I think I'll buy the new Batman Arkham City. Now, this is what the new modern Catwoman looks like.

I am even looking forward to adding to my DC action figure collection April 2012. DC will be releasing a Catwoman Arkham figure.

Even the new 52 comic Catwoman looks better than the new movie Catwoman.

I'M A DC FAN???

I'm a Marvel fan. So, why have I fallen in love with DC lately? I'll tell you why. Because DC is kicking out some freaking awesome comics...all number one with the new 52 launch. The latest comic I have to have is Batwoman.

The storyline in this comic look promising and the artwork is outstanding. Can't wait for the next comic in this series.

Batwoman is reborn as Kate Kane. A hard partying socialite that spends most of her evenings fighting crime and picking up girls. Yes, I said picking up girls. Kate is a former special forces solider who's career was ended when another fast rising cadet took a picture of Kate smooching another female solider and turned her in to the commanding officer.

I haven't collected comics for a while so imagine my surprise learning what topics are now being tackled. Anyhow, with all the bullying and recent deaths of young gay people, I say way to go DC. Shouldn't be a major issue anyway.

Now back to the important stuff. The artwork is off the chain.

J.H. Williams III is co-writer and artist. Mr. Williams is very talented indeed. The art work really pops out at you. I love how comics have gone to the all glossy pages now. That really brings the colors to life. The covers themselves are worth framing and hanging. Hey, that's an idea! I see a shadow box with comic and action figure included.

NEW YORK COMIC CON

NYCC this past week has definitely got me excited about my action figure collecting! DC is coming out this Batman figures for the new up coming movie as well as the Legacy series featuring a really cool Catwoman that I have got to get my hands on. The new Legacy Batman looks pretty good too. Never was much of a Hariquin fan but, her action figure counterpart is too awesome to pass up on. I'll be looking for that one too.

I am also looking forward to getting my hands on stark raving mad villian himself, The Joker.

Marvel is putting out a few figures that I'm interested in as well.

Spiderman has got to be one of  my favorite characters if not my very favorite. I love this guy! I know Hot Toys has come out with a 1/6 figure of Spiderman. I hope we get some 12inch Icon figures of the new Spiderman costume from the new movie and a Miles Morles 1/6 figure. Hopefully done better than the Spiderman Icons that I already own.

NEW AVENGER PIC

Okay, if you haven't guessed yet, I'm a superhero junkie. And I am so looking forward to THE AVENGERS movie. Even if I wasn't a superhero fan, I would definitely see this movie just because of the cast. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that all the male characters are cute too.

A large portion of my action figure collection consists of superheros. I should be able to get quite a few new figures with this new movie coming to the theaters.

SIDESHOW GETS DC LICENSE!

I am stupid excited about this one! I think now I'll finally have to start getting higher end action figures! I'd better start saving now because if they do Catwoman and Wonderwoman, I am so there. Those two are probally my favorite DC characters. Not far behind them is Batwoman. So excited! Can't wait to see what they are going to come out with. Sideshow's first release is going to be the bad man himself. The Joker! Can't wait! Can't wait!
